The government today expressed deep regret over the statements of senior political leaders of Bihar State of India which the broadsheets of Nepal covered today.Issuing a press statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Nepal government’s serious attention had been drawn to the media coverage in today’s broadsheets attributed to senior political leaders of Bihar State on the inherently internal issues of Nepal.“The statements are provocative and uninformed about the ground realities and do not serve the fundamental interest of the two countries,” states the release issued by MoFA spokesperson.MoFA said the Government of Nepal expresses deep regret over such statements and they were not helpful in the ongoing efforts aimed at normalising the situation.
