Purnima Shrestha dance with Nepal police



The show starts and there are dancers in colourful attires depicting varieties of Hindu gods and goddesses Barahi, Ganesh, Shiva, Krishna among many others. Garlands of different sizes are worn by the dancers which steal the immediate attention of the onlookers. Kartik Naach was started by Siddhi Narsingh Malla in 1697 BS during the Malla era. This era was considered to be the Golden Age of Nepal as art and craft developed vastly during this time. There are a number of stories behind the legend of this dance festival.

Some believe that the dance is performed to give honour to the Hindu deity Kartikeya, while some believe that it was king Siddhi’s love for deities, art, crafts and literature. However, Kiran Chitrakar, Chairman of Kartik Naach Samrakshan Samiti, opined that the dance is named as Kartik Naach as it is performed during the month of Kartik.The desperate wait to see the dancers in their colourful attires and props goes on increasing when varieties of musical instruments are played by a group of musicians at the Kartik Dabali. People in search of the best place to get a good view of the dance are seen moving all around the courtyards. As the volunteers come carrying an oil container and some cotton wicks, one knows one’s wait is over the show is about to start.

The Nepali cabinet this weekend, the government agreed to back a bill including a constitutional amendment that, if ratified by the country’s parliament, would alter the new constitution to satisfy two of the three primary grievances of the protestors. Specifically, the amendment would address proportional representation and federal constituency delimitation issues in the constitution. The political crisis over Nepal’s constitution has been particularly bitter given that the nation is almost evenly split over the appropriateness of the new constitution.

“The bill has ensured proportional inclusive participation in various state organs as demanded by the agitating parties and has also proposed delimitation of the electoral constituencies based on population,” Nepal’s Minister for Industry Som Prasad Pandey told the press, according to the Hindu. He added that a political mechanism “will recommend solutions to disputes over the proposed provincial boundaries within three months of its formation.”

Across the border to the south, in India, the Nepali government’s signaling has been met positively. Vikas Swarup, a spokesperson for the Indian foreign ministry, in a tweet noted that “India welcomes develop’ts in Nepal as positive steps that help create the basis for a resolution of current impasse.” India, given its important interests in Nepal and historic ties, has sought to resolve Nepal’s constitutional crisis. Additionally, due to cross-border ethnic and cultural ties between the Nepalis of the Terai and Indians living along the Nepali border, the current instability, if prolonged, could destabilize the Indian border. The de facto blockade of the border is one symptom of the problems arising for India from the constitutional crisis.

Bike accident in Babarmahal, Kathmandu

The death toll in the chimney explosion has reached eight by Tuesday morning. A burning chimney of the New Jaya Nepal brick kiln was collapsed at Itahari Sub-Metropolis-16 on Monday evening. The person, who breathed his last on early Tuesday morning, has been identified as Mustafa Alam Miya. He was declared dead at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. Earlier, the deceased were confirmed as Garibalal Paswan, 50, Mithilesh Paswan, 35, Salun Miya, 16, Sagdam Hussain, 15, and 12-year-old Rahul from neighboring Bihar state of India and Galadidevi Chaudhary, 60 and Shiva Narayan Chaudhary of Itaharii. It is suspected that the death toll would increase as most of the injured are reported as critical in condition. Two dozen injured persons are admitted at various hospitals in Itahari. The police involved in the rescue operation have said that they have rescued all the trapped workers from the exploded chimney. म २२ वर्षीया विवाहित युवती हुँ । श्रीमान्सँग नियमित रूपमा यौनसम्पर्क हुन्छ । यौनसम्पर्कको अवधि यस्तै ४० मिनेटजतिको हुन्छ । परिवर्तित आसनहरूमा यौनसम्पर्क गर्दा धेरै दुख्छ, साथै स्तन पनि हल्लिन्छ । श्रीमान्ले पनि स्तन खेलाउनुहुन्छ । यसैले गर्दा हो कि मेरो स्तन लुज भएजस्तो लाग्छ । मैले सुनेअनुसार यौनसम्पर्क गर्दा योनि कालो हुनुका साथै तथा पाठेघर पनि बिग्रन्छ रे । के यो साँचो हो ?

तपाईंले नियमित रूपमा यौनसम्पर्क गरेर पर्याप्त आनन्द प्राप्त गरेको आभास पाइन्छ, जुन राम्रो कुरा हो । फरक आसनको अभ्यास पनि गर्नुहुँदो रहेछ अनि यौनांगको रंगका बारेमा यति चासो राख्नुले तपाईं आफ्नो यौन तथा यौनिकतासम्बन्धी कुरामा सचेत हुनुहुन्छ भन्ने देखिन्छ ।
परिवर्तित आसनमा यौनसम्पर्क गर्दा दुख्छ
तपाईंले के–कस्तो आसनमा यौनसम्पर्क गर्दा दुख्छ स्पष्ट रूपमा जानकारी नदिनु भएकाले यसै भन्न सकिने स्थिति भएन, तर छोटकरीमा भन्नुपर्दा विशेष गरी ती यौन आसनमा यौनसम्पर्क गर्दा दुख्छ, जसमा लिंगले प्रत्यक्ष रूपमा पाठेघरको मुखमा धक्का दिन्छ । तपाईं र तपाईंको श्रीमान्लाई पनि थाहा हुनुपर्छ कि योनिको बाहिरी एकतिहाइ भाग यौन संवेदनशील हुन्छ न कि भित्रको । यौनसम्पर्कका बेला तपाईंलाई पनि लिंग भित्रसम्म पसाइयोस् जस्तो लाग्न सक्छ, तर यहीले यौनसम्पर्क गर्दा दुख्ने कारण बन्न सक्छ ।
मुख्य कुरा के भने जुन यौन आसनमा पीडा हुन्छ त्यसको प्रयोग गर्न बन्द गर्नुपर्छ । यो कुरा आफ्ना श्रीमान्लाई खुलस्त रूपमा भन्नुहोस् । त्यसपछि आफूलाई नदुख्ने किसिमको अर्कै कुनै आसन प्रयोग गर्नुहोस् । अन्य कुनै लक्षण जस्तै फरक किसिमको योनिश्राव हुने वा रगत आउने वा कुनै शंका छ भने स्त्रीरोग विशेषज्ञसँग सम्पर्क राख्नु बेस हुन्छ ।
श्रीमान्ले खेलाएकाले स्तन कसिलो नभएको हो कि ?
व्यक्ति–व्यक्ति तथा जातिअनुसार, पूर्ण विकसित स्तनको आकार र साइजमा पर्याप्त भिन्नता पाइन्छ । सामान्यत: स्तनको आकार वा स्वरूपलाई प्रभाव पार्ने प्रमुख कुरा निम्न छन् । स्तनका तन्तुको मात्रा, पारिवारिक इतिहास, उमेर, तौल बढ्नु वा घट्नु, स्तनको छालाको मोटाइ वा तन्किन सक्ने गुण, रागरस (हार्मोन) हरूको प्रभाव, स्तनको विकासका क्रममा यसको आकार र कडापनमा पनि परिवर्तन हुन्छ । कतिपय स्तन गोलाकार हुन्छ भने केहीको आकार अलि चुच्चो (Conical) देखि झोल्लिएको (Pendulom) सम्म हुन सक्छ ।
अर्को विचार गर्नुपर्ने कुरा के हो भने किशोरावस्थामा स्तनको तन्तु बढ्दै जाँदा यो गोलाकार हुन्छ र यसका तन्तुहरू पनि निकै खाँदिने भएकाले वयस्क उमेरका महिलाभन्दा कडा वा पुष्ट हुन्छ । उमेर बढ्दै गएपछि स्तनको खँदिलोपन पनि घट्दै जाने हुनाले पहिलेको तुलनामा नरम हुँदै जान्छ । तपाईंले यसैलाई संकेत गर्नुभएको होला । तपार्इंको श्रीमान्ले यौन क्रियाकलापका सन्दर्भमा स्तन खेलाउँदैमा कम खँदिलो हुने होइन । पहिले तौल बढी भएर पछि घटेको स्थितिमा पनि स्तनको आकार तथा खँदिलोपनमा कमी आउन सक्छ । कतिपय तस्बिरमा जुन चलाखीले स्तनलाई आकर्षक देखाएको हुन्छ, त्यसलाई हाम्रो सामाजिक जीवनमा उतार्न सजिलो छैन । त्यस्ता तस्बिरका कारण हामीमध्ये कतिपय दिग्भ्रमित हुन पुग्छौं ।
स्तनको आयतन विशेष गरेर त्यसमा भएको बोसोले निर्धारण गर्छ । यी विशेष तन्तु छातीमा टाँसिएका हुन्छन् र महिलाको शरीरको चालअनुसार मज्जाले हल्लिन्छन् । यो कुरामा अन्यथा सोच्नुपर्ने कुनै आधार म देख्दिनँ ।
योनिको रंग किन कालो भएको ?
तपाईंले योनिको रंग भन्नुभएको हो वा भगक्षेत्र वा भगोष्ठको ? स्पष्ट छैन । हामीले बोलीचालीको सन्दर्भका योनि भने पनि वास्तवमा यी फरक कुरा हुन् । योनिको रंग पनि व्यक्ति–व्यक्ति अनुसार फरक हुन्छ । योनिको रंग विशेष गरेर गुलाबी वा रातो रंगको हुन्छ । कतिपय स्थितिमा यी रंग गाढा भए पनि खासै चिन्ताको विषय नहुन सक्छ । यसका साथै भग क्षेत्र वा भगोष्ठको छालाको रंग छालाको अन्य भागको तुलनामा बढी गाढा हुन्छ । किनभने यसमा छालालाई गाढा रंगको बनाउने तत्त्व (Pigment) बढी हुन्छ ।
यौनसम्पर्कका बेला रक्त प्रवाह योनि, भगक्षेत्र अर्थात् भगोष्ठमा बढी हुने हुँदा पनि यो बढी गाढा रंगको देखिन्छ, तर उत्तेजना शान्त भए पछि फेरि यो सामान्य अवस्थामै आउँछ । त्यसबाहेक अन्य कतिपय कुराले पनि यसको रंगलाई असर गर्छ । हार्मोनको मात्रामा उतार चढाव, यौनांग क्षेत्रमा भएको संक्रमण, यौनांगमा निरन्तर अधिक टयाल्कम पाउडरको प्रयोग, यौनांगमा प्रयोग गरिने क्रिम वा साबुन वा त्यस्तै उत्पादनहरूको असर अनि सिन्थेटिक कपडाले बनेका अति नै कसिलो कपडाजस्ता अनेक कुरा यसको कारण हुन सक्छ । यौनसम्पर्क गरेका कारणले प्रत्यक्ष रूपमा योनि कालो हुने कुनै आधार छैन । अर्को कुरा पाठेघरको काम नै गर्भाधानपछि शिशुलाई विकसित हुने एक सुरक्षित स्थान दिनु हो ।
गर्भधारण नै यौनसम्पर्कबाट हुन्छ, त्यसैले यौनसम्पर्कले पाठेघर बिग्रन्छ भन्ने कुरा गर्नु मनासिव छैन । तपाईंले पत्रमा चिलाउने, असजिलो हुने, रंग परिवर्तनका साथै पीडा हुने, अत्यधिक अस्वभाविक योनि श्राव जस्ता कुरा उल्लेख गर्नुभएको छैन । यदि त्यस्ता केही लक्षण छैनन् भने तपाईंले खासै चिन्ता गर्नुपर्ने देखिँदैन ।
योनि वा यौनांग क्षेत्रको कालोपनले तपाईंको आकर्षणमा कमी आउने होईन भन्ने कुरा तपाईं अनि तपाईको श्रीमान्ले पनि बुझ्नुभएकै होला । अहिले छालाको गोरोपनलाई सुन्दरता वा आकर्षणसँग जोडिन्छ । पहिले अनुहारको गोरोपनको कुरा विस्तारित भएर गर्दन, हात, पाखुरा हुँदै ढाडसम्म पुगेको छ । यहाँ तपाईले योनि वा यौनांग क्षेत्रलाई छालाको रंगपस्तो कम गाढा वा गोरो बनाउने कुनै आवश्यकता नभएकाले त्यसमा लाग्नु हुनेछैन भन्ने विश्वास लिएको छु ।
